Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
"I've never seen you around here... what's your name? Mine is Drake," the mysterious alpha said kindly. "I'm Mochi! Nice to meet chu, Drakey!" Mochi exclaimed. Drake laughed and said, "Not Drakey, just Drake. I'm the alpha of this school." "I know, but Drakey is cuter!!!" Mochi said. "Sure, alright, shortie," Drake said. Mochi made a cute scowling face. "I'm not short! You're just really tall!" she said, puffing her cheeks out. Drake laughed again. "Well, I guess I'll see you around. Nice meeting you, Mochi!" Drake said. Then he helped Thea and Anais on there feet and walked away. Thea and Anais rushed over. "Are you okay?! Did you get hurt-" I'm fine. Bye the way, what did the stupid boys mean when they said 'lesbian freaks'"? "Ummm..." Thea stuttered. "W-we'll tell you another time, alright?" "Kay, Kay!" "On the brighter side, it seems like Drake's really taken a liking to you! And, to be honest, that's kinda rare.. like, he's pretty kind and friendly to us, but he's not really the type to want any friends," Anais said. Suddenly, the school bell rang, and Mochi set off to find her classroom.
"Attention, class! Today we have a new student, moving here from Japan. Please come in," the teacher said to the class. Mochi walked in with a huge smile on her face. "Hewoo~! My name is Mochi, and I love cute things and making new friends!" she exclaimed. "It's wonderful to meet you, Mochi! My name is Ms. Peach, but you can call me by my first name, Skylar," the teacher smiled. She squinted to the class. "How about you sit next to-" "Drakey!!!" Mochi exclaimed, waving at Drake, who was sitting in the back of the class. Everyone began laughing, not at Drake, but Mochi. Finally, Drake stood up and yelled "Quit laughing at her!!! She can call me Drakey if she wants!!!" Everyone fell silent. Then, Skylar cleared her throat and smiled at Mochi, who seemed completely unfazed by the teasing. "As I was saying, you can go sit next to Drake, but first, a few questions. Zain?" she said, motioning to a nerdy boy with blue hair at the desk closest to her. Zain stood up and cleared his throat. "First question: What is your breed?" "Just a common wolf. I do have some panda blood in me, however." After a few questions, the lessons started. Mochi had no regrets; a new start three new friends and so much in the near future! What could go wrong?
