Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
Many kids ran away. Gavin backed up against a wall. Thea was crying silently as Anais held her tightly. Drake... he could hardly believe his eyes. There was silence for a long while as the tension in the atmosphere built up. Finally, Thea mustered a small "M-Mochi...?" Mochi's head tilted to her and Anais like a possessed doll, eyes black as void. Thea screamed as Anais held her back, tears streaming down her own face. Mochi looked back at Gavin, who looked terrified and regretful at the same time. Then, out of nowhere, she slowly started walking towards a set of doors. Drake was confused until he looked at the door label and his stomach dropped: it was the "Cooking Club". "Mochi?!" He exclaimed, running in after her. Mochi stared at the knife one of the members were holding... and without warning, snatched it out of his hand. Drake approached Mochi a bit faster now. "Mochi, calm down. Don't do it," he said firmly, blocking the door. Mochi, however, was unfazed. Suddenly, she lunged at Drake with the knife! "Drake!!!" Anais screamed. Gavin looked almost disgusted. "She's a monster!!! Look at her!" he yelled, pointing to Mochi. Her head creak towards her bully, as she lowered the knife. "Mochi, don't do it!!!" Drake protested. Before she could attempt to stab Gavin, Drake grabbed her knife hand and held her body back with the other arm. Mochi's emotions finally returned: she started wailing as she was unable to harm Gavin. "PLEASE, DRAKE!!!" she screamed, a demonic growl to her voice. "HE RUINED MY LIFE!! HE MADE PEOPLE WISH I WAS DEAD! JUST ONE STAB, PLEASE!!!" "NO!" The struggle continued as Gavin finally scrambled to his feet and backed away. As soon as Mochi saw him out of her stabbing vicinity, she froze. For a second, Drake was relieved she didn't stab him... but then, he saw her aiming the knife at her throat. Anais and Thea screamed. "MOCHI, NOOO!!!" Drake hollered, attempting to wrestle the knife from her hands. Teachers started to arrive, but Anais kept them away. For two long minutes, everyone watched as Mochi repeatedly tried stabbing herself, with Drake trying his hardest to keep her from killing herself. However, he eventually became angry, and out of that fury...
He grabbed the knife and accidentally stabbed Mochi in the side.
