Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
*knock knock knock*
Areo opened the white door, showing Mochi standing there, a sweet but nervous smile on her face. "Mochi? Is everything alright?" he asked. Mochi nodded, "Yes sir... where was Drakey today?" "He got sick before class started. He's doing better now, though. Would you like to talk to him?" "Yes, pwease!" Inside the house was pretty quiet; Areo said that Oliver was asleep and all of Drake's sisters were at school. Finally, Mochi was led to an outside patio, with Drake sitting on a chair while eating a sandwich. "Hai Drakey!" Mochi exclaimed, hugging Drake. "Oh- hey Mochi!" Drake smiled, motioning her to sit with him. "So, you got sick...?" Mochi asked after sitting down. Drake chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, I started throwing up in the bathroom, and then I collapsed on the floor. Next thing I remember was Dad carrying me up to my room. I'm doing a lot better, though, and it's not even anything contagious!" Mochi smiled. "Yeah...! I'm... glad you're alright, Drakey..." she said, feigning happiness. However, Drake saw through her as if she was made of glass. "Did anything... out of the ordinary happen today at school?" Mochi's smile faded as she looked away. "Well... there is one thing..."
Drake stared at Mochi in shock. "So basically..." he started. "... you first THREATENED Gavin, then you publicly embarrassed him for being a hypocrite... is that correct?" Mochi's eyes welled with tears. "Y-yeah... I didn't mean to..." she stuttered. Drake sat next to his girlfriend on a glider chair and hugged her. "Don't be upset, I'm not mad at you," he said. "It's not you I'm worried about being mad, its the fact that I'm mad at myself! He wasn't even doing anything wrong, yet I was the one who threatened him. I was the one who exposed him! I was the one who lost control of my demon!!!" Mochi cried. Drake kept hugging her, gently stroking his hand through her hair. In reality, he had no idea what to say. "Are you gonna apologize...?" he asked. Mochi nodded. "I still feel horrible... how can I control myself when something actually bad happens and I can't even stop myself from threatening a simple bully at school!" she sighed. Drake smiled comfortingly. "I don't really know what it's like.... I'm not a demon like you, Mochi. But..." he pulled her in tighter. "... whatever happens, I'll always be willing to cheer you up!" he laughed. Mochi smiled and scoffed. "Yeah? How?" she smirked. Drake looked up, as if he was thinking about something. "I dunno... bake you treats, tickle you, or maybe just..." He looked at Mochi dashingly. "...give you so many kisses that you'll be tired of them?" "Shut up, Baka...!" Mochi exclaimed, turning away all tsundere-like. Drake laughed a bit harder, causing Mochi to join in.
Several yards away, the leaves to a tree shook unnaturally. Black hair whipped around as the person ducked away. "Simple bully, eh? Oh, Mochi-Cakes...
"You don't even know..."
