Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
"So, before we start the tour, I want you to meet someone real special to me," Anais told Mochi. "Kay, kay!" Mochi exclaimed, her wolf tail wagging to and fro. Anais guided her new friend to another girl who was adjusting a purple beret in her hair. This girl was no doubt a rare brown-haired fox, judging by her stylish fox ears and dark caramel hair that covered one of her eyes, which matched her tan skin. The girl wore a lavender, pink, and white striped sweater dress with gray tights and lavender ballet flats. Suddenly, she spun around and smiled at Anais. "Hi, Anais! What did you-" She stopped mid-sentence as her brown eyes met Mochi's. Anais smiled. "Thea, this is the new student, Mochi. Mochi, this is my best friend, Thea!" she said. Mochi rocked on her heels in happiness. "Hewwo~! Nice to meet chu, Thea!" she exclaimed. Thea smiled back and inspected Mochi's kawaii style. "Hi! Nice to meet you too, Mochi!" she said, shaking Mochi's hand. Suddenly, two boys shoved the girls out of the hallway.
"Make way, lesbian freaks!!!" one yelled at Thea and Anais. The other stared at Mochi, who seemed quite... unfazed. "Never seen this one around here, dude," he said. Then he grabbed Mochi's suspenders. "You new or something, baby?" he growled. His black bear ears and yellow teeth were pretty intimidating, but Mochi smiled. "Yep! I am new! My name is Mochi, what about chu?" The boy snarled and raised his fist, ready to punch her. Suddenly, a mighty presence filled the air, and a guy yelled, "Put her the hell down, Gavin!!" The mysterious boy walked through the silent hallway. He had tall wolf ears nestled in his spiky, dark cyan hair, with a matching shirt and tie, black pants, and green shoes. However, he wasn't a normal wolf... he had a spiky dragon tail and dragon wings on his back... this dude was a hybrid. "Gavin, Jack, leave them alone! Now!!!" the guy growled. The two bullies walked away, but slammed Mochi against a nearby locker before leaving. The hybrid walked over. "Are you alright?" he asked, extending his hand. Mochi grabbed it and pulled herself up. Suddenly, she noticed a black X on the hybrid's right cheek; it was an alpha mark.
