Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
"D-Drakey...?"
Drake stared in shock. Mochi's head slowly tilted towards him, her big, red eyes full of life. "MOCHI!!" Drake screamed in excitement, standing straight up. He hardly dared to believe what he was seeing! "Drakey!" Mochi exclaimed. No, this was not a dream... it couldn't be! Drake collapsed to his knees and wrapped his arms around Mochi's warm body. All of a sudden, there was a light thud from across the room; Rain had also waken up from the commotion. "Drake, what's going-" She noticed Mochi. "Mochi, you're awake!!" she almost yelled, rushing over to get a closer look. Drake looked back at his sister, tears starting to flood his eyes from happiness. "Get the nurse!" he shouted. With one last ecstatic look at Mochi, Rain rushed out of the room to find Mochi's nurse as Drake pulled Mochi back into a huge hug. Mochi had tears in her eyes, only she didn't know why. Suddenly, she looked at Drakes face. "Drakey! Y-you're crying!!!" she exclaimed, mortified. It was true; Drake had tears streaming down his face, and he was so red, it was obscene. "W-well... yeah! You have no idea how much I've missed you... you literally were DEAD when the paramedics arrived!" he sniffed. Mochi's smile faded for a few seconds, then she giggled and wiped Drake's tears off his face with her finger. "Stop crying, Drakey. You're making me cry too!" she said. Suddenly, Drake pulled out a frozen box of mochi ice cream. "I found this at the gift shop... it's also cookies-and-cream flavored!" "Awww, thank chu, Drakey! That's so nice!" Mochi gushed. After a few seconds of staring and smiling at each other, Drake took Mochi's face into his hands, and... *KISS!* Drake pulled away after a second and smiled as Mochi's eyelids fluttered open. "Mochi, since we first met, I've loved you... will you be my sweet Demon?" Drake confessed. Mochi stared for a few seconds, then smiled and nodded. "I love you, Drakey." "Love you too, Lil' Mochi..."
"WHERE IS DA CHILD?!!" Thea screamed, bursting into the room. "Babe, calm down! There are other people in this hospital, you know!" Anais sighed as she walked calmly through the door. Mochi smiled and waved at her friends. "Hiiii Mochi!!!" Thea squealed, rushing to hug Mochi. "How are you?" "I'm doing 'sugoi'!!!" Mochi responded as she hugged Anais. "Sooooo, tell us the story of when you woke up!!" Thea persisted. Drake and Mochi were hesitant, but with the promise of chocolates from a new chocolate store down the road, they reluctantly told the story of when Mochi woke up. "I know it wasn't too long ago since we were attacked, but I feel like I've woken up in different dimension..." Mochi explained. Drake shot her a flirty wink. "Maybe because one event last night that you didn't mention yet, hmm?" he laughed. Now Thea and Anais were really curious, as they leaned in to hear this left-out detail. Mochi blushed and puffed out her cheeks as she turned away. "Drake and I might've become an item last night..." she murmured aloud. Thea and Anais were speechless. Then, out of no where... "MY SHIP HAS SAILED!!" Anais screamed. Now, Thea was the calm one, as she hugged Drake and Mochi, and said, "Congrats!!! I always thought that you two'd be good for each other!" Finally, the day came to a close. However, Drake and Mochi went to sleep that night with a red string of fate tying them together, reinforced by the protection given by their friends.
