On the first day of school and my mom is driving me and my older sister, Colette, to school
We are listing to the radio which is playing "driver's license" by Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo: Got my drivers license last week like we always talked about 'cause you were so excited for me to finally drive up to your house, but today I drove through the suburbs... crying 'cause you weren't around
Mom: hey, Colette, did you pass your Driving test?
this is not something my sister likes to talk about
Colette turns off the radio
Colette: NO! BECAUSE YOU WON'T HELP ME LEARN!
Mom: *still calm" You just need more practice you will be fine
My mom and my sister start screaming eat each other
My mom drives into the mall that we are driving right next to and she parks in the nearest parking space
Me: um can we go to school... I am going to be late if we don't keep driving
My mom and my sister: WE ARE 30 MINUTES EARLY!!!
20 minutes later.
Everyone stops talking and my mom speeds to school
When we arrive I jump out and my mom and sister start yelling again
Oops... I forgot to introduce myself
I am Cassie (aka Cassandra... but don't call me that)
I have blonde hair and blue eyes (my mom says they are the shade of the sky but I think it is the shade of the ocean)

I have a boyfriend named Nathan (on the 1-200 popularity chart he is probably 124)
ok so let's get on with my day
I am really looking forward to seeing Nathan
He went on vacation all summer so I didn't see him
Since I was still 15 minutes early. I was hoping we could have some quality time

Nathan: it is time we talked... I met someone new over the summer and... I don't like you anymore

Me: y-yeah it is fine
I ran to the bathroom and sat in a stall crying until the bell rang for class to start
Well, I don't really have any friends to help me so :(

I went to class
I didn't even hear anything the teacher was saying
I was just thinking
Finally, the lunch bell rang, and sadly slumped over to the lunch tables

Me: why do you want to sit here!
That someone: I don't have anywhere else to sit

I didn't even lookup
That someone: I am Alex!
Alex!? She is 134 on the popularity chart
I brighten up and look at her
Alex sits down
Me: so...
Alex: I heard your boyfriend dumped you
Me: y-yeah
Alex: My boyfriend cheated on me during the summer
Me: oh I'm sorry
Alex: yeah
Me: do you want to be friends
Alex: Yeah I guess... I have no friends yet
Me: same
So after lunch, I was scrambling around to grab my books from my locker
I ran into Eric... 12 on the popularity chart
Eric started blushing
Me: I'm so sorry
Eric: I-I... it is f-fine
Me: ok?
I honestly think Eric is the absolute most annoying boy in the entire school!!!
Eric is in all my classes
So I sat down in math class
The boys snickered and Eric gave me a note

I crumpled it up and Eric looked down
After class, I went up to Alex and told her what happened
Alex: you should try to like him... only if you want... don't you want a new boyfriend?
Me: yeah I guess... but I wish it was not Eric of all people
Alex: Well it is not every day that a popular boy wants to be your boyfriend
Me: yeah look who is talking
Alex's boyfriend is #11 on the popularity chart
Alex: look... I am just trying to help
Me: yeah thanks
The bell rang and I ran out of the school
Eric ran up to me
Me: what do you want!!
Eric: I-I just want to talk
Me: ok if you want that then meet me at Starbucks in an hour
Eric: ok at 4 then?
Me: yeah sure :(
I went home and finished my homework
I took off my school uniform and I put on a normal blue t-shirt and a white scrunchie for my hair. I grabbed jeans and I put on my white Vans (shoe brand)
I dashed out the door of my house and I biked over to Starbucks
I finally arrived at Starbucks and Eric was sitting down at a table
He is wearing a red t-shirt, jeans, and he has black Nikes (shoe brand)
Me: hi
Eric sees me and starts blushing
I ordered a coffee then sat down
Me: I'm sorry for crumpling up your note. I just got dumped so I was in a bad mood
Eric: oh. I'm sorry to hear that... and it is fine
Eric grabbed his sandwich from the counter and I grabbed my coffee
We sat there in silence
Eric: it is fine if you don't like me
Eric: I just wanted you to know that I have liked you for a while... but if you want. We could just be friends
Me: I don't know. If I am up for it... but we can be friends
Eric brightens up
We sit in silence again
Eric and I finish our food/drink and we go to throw the cup/wrapper away
He puts his wrapper in the trash and I bump into him
I blush... embarrassed... and something else
Me: w-well see you tomorrow
I jump on my bike and race home
But it was not just my bike that was racing... it was my heart too
