On a sad and lonely day, an old lady died in a nursing home. In her will she allowed her house to go for sale because she had no children to take it. Now in the back of her house, there was a workshop, and the workshop was where she made things of all kinds, but the workshop door was very overgrown with vines and hidden by shrubs and ferns. A few years passed and no one bought the house. The price on the house was lowered and someone soon bought it. The people that bought it was a young couple that had been married 6 years and liked all things vintage. It was a normal day when suddenly it started to rain. The wife thought nothing of it because it rained all the time. Well, a few minutes later she thought that she had heard a knock on the back of the workshop door. She found that odd because that door had not been used in at least 6 years. When the wife went to the back door, she discovered a man that was requesting a doll for his 6-year-old daughter's birthday. The wife said I have no idea what you are talking about. she tells him she is calling the police officers. Then the man responds why? I have instructions to come here and get the doll. The man pulls his phone out of his pocket and brings up the voice mail. This message says it was sent 6 days ago by a Mrs. Elizabeth Carol Ingerman. Well that shocks her because this woman has been dead for 6 years. They listen to the voice message and it has instructions on exactly how to get to the house. How to walk through the back gate and exactly how to get over the vines and shrubs, and how to knock. She looks around and the doll is sitting right there on the creepy work desk. The woman hands the man his doll and says to leave and if he ever comes back, she will call the police officers. He says ok and never returns. Then about 6 months later the wife has a luncheon with some of her friends. Well, one of her friends says she needs to go to the bathroom and excuses herself to the bathroom. Well, she is washing her hands when she says to herself out loud that the house must have leaky pipes. Well she turns around and she sees the little old lady Elizabeth Ingerman and the old lady responds yes, this house does have leaky pipes and then she vanishes. The lady is scared but keeps a cool head and walked back to the luncheon. Suddenly there is a knock at the door. The wife goes and opens the door, and when she opens it there stands the little old lady! She asks to see the house and the wife says no I am afraid you will have to come sometime later. The little lady says that she sees that she is having a luncheon and invites herself in. She tells the wife that she needs to use the restroom and so the wife asks if she needs help to find her way around. The lady says no and instead of going to the hall bathroom she goes into the master bedroom on the second floor and stays in there for about 10 minutes. Then the wife goes up and asks the lady if she is all right and tells her that she is going to come in. The wife comes in and looks around for the old lady. The wife does not find her but does find that the window is open and is blowing in the breeze. The strange thing is there is bars on the window! The wife goes down and tells the ladies nothing that just happened. The ladies leave and the wife is glad that the luncheon went well. Well 6 months pass and everything seems to go back to normal when suddenly the ladies from the luncheon start seeing things. Lady one suddenly starts having leaky pipes. Lady 2 sees the man that asked for the doll. Lady 3 sees the little old lady. Well the wife did not know this and one day she went to the store to buy some groceries. She sees a little newspaper stand and looks at the headlines. The headline states that a woman named Anne Bailey Ingerman was arrested. The woman got in her car and went to the prison that Anne was held in. She talked to Anne and they got to talking about family. The wife asked Anne if she had any living family. Anne said no aside from her sister. The wife asked where her sister lived, and Anne gave her the address 666 Elm Street. That was very odd because that is exactly where she and her husband lived so she was freaked out. She left and Anne thanked her for her time. About 6 days later she was doing some laundry and watching TV, when she heard the bathroom window open. She went to investigate and when she did, she looked around and the little lady was standing right next to her. She said that she must be crazy. The little lady says no you are not crazy. The wife responds how I can see you and you are dead. No, the lady responds you are not crazy I am not dead. Yes, you are the wife replies I went to your funeral and still I am talking to you. Who the little old lady responds who and then vanishes and is never seen again. About 6 days later the woman is taken away to a mental hospital because she claims to see spirits and the husband dies of shock and unbelief.
